CHAPTER 1

A girl was crying on the phone and a guy was trying to make her understand that everything will be fine. He won’t let everything to be fine I have no choice. Girl took a deep breath and said I’m getting married within a week I’m sorry and kept the call. Her cell phone was ringing continuously but she was not picking up and then she heard a message tone and read the message few more tears came out of her eyes. She was sitting on the couch in living room, clutching the pillow that was on her lap and cried even louder if possible she had broken the heart of her love but she had no other option but still he was ready to fight for her, how had she got so luck, she had everything a girl would die for, she had her happiness so near to her but now it feels a distinct dream, never to be true. She knew it was a lost battle but still she wished a miracle to happen and save her from the disaster she was not ready to do this but her agreement was not important. She closed her eyes and saw crying when she felt two hands cover her eyes and a small shriek left her mouth, as soon as she turned her head and saw who it was she just got up and launched on the persons arm and cried even louder if possible. 

Khushi looked at her and said I know you are happy to see me but why are you strangling me and kissed her cheeks. Payal looked at her eyes and Khushi knew something wasn’t right. Before she could have said something Payal asked her you where suppose to come tomorrow, khushi cut her off and said I wanted to surprise you, but know I think it was for the best that I came  a day early.  She held Payal’s hand and said lets go to our room and then we can talk. She dragged her to their room and locked it and made Payal sit on the bed and said know will you tell me jeeji what is the matter. Payal looked at her and said in most painful and anguished voice my marriage is fixed as soon as she said that Khuhsi jumped up from the bed and said it’s awesome jeeji know we will have lot of fun and Akash jeeju loves you a lot and have you decided on the date.  Payal stopped Khushi before she could say more and said my marriage is not fixed to Akash but Arnav Singh Raizada, the only thing khushi said was don’t joke jeeji. She looked at Khuhsi and said it’s true.  Khuhsi looked at her and said but you love Akash from past 6 years, she looked at Payal with keen eyes and said tell me the whole truth. Payal gestured Khushi to site by her side.  You know that I wanted to join business after graduation but chacha ji (uncle) never allowed me and I didn’t like to question him as dad and he had started this business together, but 6 months back I came to know that business was on the verge of bankruptcy. I called dad’s lawyer Mr. Sethi and confirmed whether it is true and he said it was true. He also told me that it will not affect our education fund dad had kept for us and we should concentrate on our studies. You were in hostel and in few months you had you exam so I didn’t want to bother you. But a month back our company was over taken by Raizad Group. I talked to chacha ji but he never said anything and I gave up as we couldn’t do much after the takeover. She looked at her and said so  for few days chacha ji was not coming out of his room and I tried but her won’t step a foot out I was fear in his eyes but didn’t get it why, but yesterday

Flashback

Payal as usual got up and had her bath cleaned her bed and went down to do her pooja like every morning. Times were tough so they had to cut lose their servants and it wasn’t much of a trouble as only two people lived in the house. She did her pooja and made breakfast for herself and chacha ji. She went and called him, chachaji only came out of his room to have his meals and rest of the time he would be locked in his room and they were having their breakfast when she heard the door bell ring and she got up to see who it is as soon as she opened the door she was ASR standing on their front door she was shocked would be an understatement.  She had heard about ASR before but when she came to know that AR was taking over their company she had researched about him and all she came up with is that he was a shark who took over a lot of companies and he was ruthless in doing so as he had no mercy for anyone.

Without bothering about her ASR moved in followed by his manager and four guards. Soon she recovered from her shock and followed them. She saw ASR sitting on the dining table and her chacha ji shivering due to fear before she could say a word she saw him pick up a fork and pull chacha ji’s hand on the table and stabbed the fork in his hand and she heard chacha ji shouting or screaming with pain and her own horror at seeing this she ran to chacha ji to see his hand but ASR was still holding chacha ji’s hand and  as soon as I tried to push him and take chacha ji’s and he pulled the fork out and again stabbed it in chachaji’s hand. He looked at chacha ji and said you were suppose to come and sign those papers and you didn’t and no one messes with me he took out the fork and again stabbed it in his hand,  he gestured Aman and Aman put forward some papers and Aman said sign here and here Sir. After chacha ji signed the paper he said now the company is mine and never try to act smart with me. ASR gestured Aman again and Aman said Boss will soon sell this house as you are incapable of paying the amount you have taken from the RG.

Payal was quiet throughout all this but when she heard they were talking of selling their house she looked at Aman and shouted who the hell are you to sell our home.  Aman looked at her and said you can ask this to your uncle.  Payal looked at her chacha ji and said what they are talking about chacha ji. Chacha ji looked at her and said I had taken a personal loan from RG to improve the business but I couldn’t do it he took over the company but still I have to pay the amount to him. Payal dreaded to ask how much amount has he taken but she did and she was shocked to hear her chachaji had taken 50 corers from RG. She looked at chacha ji and said why this house it’s only thing that is left of babuji how could he mortgage it.

ASR heard their talks and was getting bored so he said in a loud voice enough of your melodrama. Payal didn’t pay any heads to his talk and said to her chacha ji me and chutki will never forgive you for this as tear were running down her face. ASR looked at Aman and Aman knew what he has to do so he said the house won’t cover this huge amount and you don’t have any other properties so know we would like to know how you will pay the balance amount.  Chachaji looked at ASR and said Sir I don’t have anything else to offer you please give me some time I will surely pay the amount due. ASR looked at him and said do you think I’m a fool I know you had tried every means to collect the money but you couldn’t and I could have dragged you to my office if I wanted but I came all the way to here I have a proposition for you. ASR looked at Payal and said I want to marry her. There was a silence in the room for few second. Chacha ji jumped at this prospect and said yes as it will help him to get rid of at least one burden. Payal who was shocked came out of the trance when she heard chacha ji say yes she looked at him in disbelief and said directly to ASR, I won’t marry you and looked at her chacha ji and said this is my final decision. She again looked at ASR and said I can’t marry you and was about to walk away when she heard, I have not asked your opinion I’m telling you we are getting married at the end of this week. Payal looked at him as if he is mad and said you can’t force me. ASR just got up and said Aman keep two guards on the front gate to guard them so they won’t run away, he looked at Mr. Gupta and said if she runs away you will be dead and left. Payal saw him leaving and looked at chacha ji and said how could you say yes but as usual it was no use talking to this selfish man and she moved to her room. She is crying from then.

End of Flashback

Khushi looked at Payal and said jeeji you won’t marry that man and I don’t think he will kill chachaji and you won’t spoil your life for that mean and selfish man. Payal looked at khushi and said I have no other choice he had left his guards out of the house and I’m not allowed to go out. Khuhsi looked at Payal and said have you told Akash about it she just nodded her head and said yes, he is on the way to India, as we were planning to get married he had completed formalities to take me with him but yours is till remaining I had said him I will go with him only if I can take you with me, but he will be here by morning. Khuhsi smiled at her sister and said see jeeji DM also wants you and Akash jeeju to marry don’t worry when khuhsi is here I have a plan. She took Payal’s mobile and messaged Akash and soon got a reply as yes she smiled at her jeeji and said sleep know you don’t want to look dull tomorrow, she got near Payal’s ear and said after all my sister is getting married. Payal smiled shyly but said in a scared tone do you think we are doing the right thing khushi. Khushi just hugged her and said jeeji “your happiness is all I want even if I have to feel the burns of our actions” now sleep we have to get up early.

Next morning as usual Payal did pooja and made breakfast and left for her room without having anything.  Khushi had her breakfast with her chachaji she had never like him and neither tried to talk to him but today she did she asked him why is he doing this to jeeji he as usual didn’t reply and khushi got up and said jeeji is not well so we will order food from outside. Soon it was lunch time and everyone had their lunch and left to their room soon khushi and Payal had manager to escape from their home from the hidden route they had created so Payal can sneek out of the house to meet Akash whenever she wants without getting noticed by chachaji and chachaji never cared about their whereabouts, but they still respected him . Khushi looked at Payal and said how romantic jeeji you are getting married to your love. They reached the temple and saw Akash there he handed a packet to Payal and said her to change he also said her he had got a dress for Khushi and she should also change and pandit is ready with everything soon the wedding took place and Akash put the sindoor and mangalsutra on her and pandit declared them husband and wife.

Khushi was happy that her jeeji got her love and she warned her jeeju to take care of her. Akash hugged Khushi and said chutki you don’t have to worry it will look after her know you both are my responsibility. Akash said that there is still time for their flight so they can have their dinner together to celebrate his and Payal’s marriage. They had their dinner and soon it was time for Payal to go Khushi had a teary farewell with her jeeji. Payal consoled her that she will soon call her there as soon as the papers ready, khushi just nodded her head and bit her good bye. She returned home and changed her clothes and slept with a smile that she saved her sister from a lifelong pain of marring someone other than her love.

Morning ray hit her face and she got up she heard noise coming from down and knew that chachaji knows about Payal’s escape. She got into the bathroom and brushed her teeth when she heard screme from down, so she thought of checking what’s going on. She made her way down when she was he chachaji on the ground and a man’s leg on chacha ji’s chest and he was shouting like a manic where is she. No one knew about her presence so she said “He doesn’t know if you want your answers you are asking the wrong person.” ASR heard a sweet voice and turned and saw a beautiful girl her hair messy as she had just gotten up from her sleep, she was wearing a shorts and top in red color, she had milky white skin and her long black hair, big doe like hazel eyes and her pink lips and rosy cheeks in all she was exquisite, ASR was shamelessly checking her out, soon her words got registered and he said in a rough voice what do you mean. Khushi felt his gaze on her and was feeling pretty dam uncomfortable but she ignored it and looked at him straight in the eyes and said “I made jeeji escape from your clutches and you won’t get her now.” THERE WAS A DEADLY SILENCE JUST TWO PAIR OF EYES LOOKING AT EACH OTHER WITH BURNING RAGE.
