CHAPTER 14

Life should always be unpredictable if you truly want to enjoy it. If life is predictable and you always get the thing you want and in the way you want there will be no fun or you won’t be able to enjoy your life. If thing were in a curtain way and you knew what you life will be like than there would be no new thing to learn or experience. Your life will be mechanical and boring to the core and you will not enjoy it a bit. To live you have to fall and then stand back so you can taste all the flavors of life not only one. If you only feel certain emotion and there is no other emotion that you could feel won’t it be weird and make you curious to know other feelings and emotion. Isn’t it said that you know true value of happiness only when you have seen pain in your life. You know true value of life when you have seen someone you love die. So to live your life you need to learn to deal with all the ups and downs of life so you can live a full life with all that it has to offer whether it is bad or good.

A week had passed from the day Khushi had held ASR in her arm and tried to sooth him but as soon as the moment has passed ASR had let go her and said he was leaving for the office and the pain she had felt emitting from his body had vanished in a thin air and he was back to his old self, cold and detest. Khushi had not know how she had felt that he was in pain even when he had been just sitting with her like he was not there at all as if he had been to some other world but what bugged her that why did she felt pain of the man who had been giving her so many pain from the moment he had met her. But then a distinct voice of her father who had once said that you should be a better person and give a chance to everything in life whether its good or bad only time could tell so be patient, just because you are hurt you should not hurt someone back, you should be a better person and let time decide whether that person should be punished and how.

Khushi looked at him from the corner of her eyes, now sitting her at the breakfast table with him on the right side of her sitting in his usual self stiff and barking orders at someone on the phone. Neither he explained or said a word about that day neither she asked him anything as she felt it will be a very bad idea to put her head in lions mouth and hope he doesn’t bit. She was muttering to herself and sulking it had been a week since that incident and she had seen his father at home but she had ran to her room whenever she had seen him and stayed there not to have any encounter with him. But now she was hell bored ASR had been busy in work and had been hardly in home and she had been pasturing Prakash brothers who like their owner only talked like yes ma’am no ma’am and it irritated her she had threaten them to call her Khushi but it never worked. They had said straight forwardly that Sir won’t like it. So she was bored and cranky with being the only soul in the house and a person who likes to talk a lot had been through a hard and toughest one week of her life. Only nice thing was ASR didn’t touch her but would just peck her on the lips as he would live for the office.

Khushi looked at him and made faces and muttered dead people would talk more than him beast. ASR who was busy reading economic times had fair idea that he was being watched so after he was done reading he kept the paper down and said what do you want. Khushi who was drinking her juice chocked a bit but soon was back to normal and looked at him and cursed why does he has to know everything I think he is really a beast who can read peoples mind and a shiver ran down her spine. ASR looked at her and said curse me as much as you want after I live now tell me what you want. Khushi looked at him and said I’m bored being in the house entire week and I have no one to talk to its irritating and waited for his reaction but he was just listening to her without any word or reaction so she took a deep breath and said I want my phone and laptop from my home so I can at least contact my friend. I need to ask them few thinks about your result.

ASR got up from his chair and put his coat which was hanging on the back of the chair and moved toward the door without a word but before he could leave he looked at her and said lets go Khushi who was sulking and cursing him for not paying any attention to her wishes cursed him more and more and had not hear his words so ASR looked at her and shouted lets go Khushi now, that bought her out of her though and she looked at him confused but his serious face made her get up and run to him but she could not keep her tongue in check and said where are we going are you taking me back to Lucknow but got no reply and he walked straight to the car waiting for him and the driver who had opened the door for him he turned back to her and said get in and Khushi got in the car and soon after her he got in and the driver closed the door. Khushi looked at him and said will you tell me where we are going Arnavji. But got no reply soon the car moved out of the house and two other cars following him in the back and one in the front.

Khushi just sulked for getting on reply but soon like any teenager she forgot she didn’t knew where she was going or where he was taking her but she looked out of the window and a smile lit up on her face.

 She was out of the house after so many days and that made her more excited and she was looking at all the things that she had never seen before as she had never been to Delhi and soon she was lost in her own world and that man sitting next to her disappeared to her and she was just plain and simple happy to be out of that cage at least even for few hours.  Soon car entered a huge building and Khushi looked at the place with confusion and before she could say or ask anything the car door was opened and ASR got down Khushi was not sure whether she was to get down or not so she sat inside but than her side of door was opened and she saw a hand that was waiting for her to hold it and get out of the car but she just ignored the hand and got out from the car to see ASR’s hand in the air and his eyes that had turned red in anger but she had no idea why but then she got her answer as soon as he held her hand in a deadly grip making her flinch and hiss in pain but he didn’t give a dam and said we are gone buy you new phone and laptop, than he looked in her eyes and don’t even think of moving out of my grip.

 

Khushi looked at his grip and that was hurting her and also heard the threat in his voice and she knew it was a threat that if she tried to run than she will receive worst than the pain she was receiving now. Khsuhi just nodded her head and said in a meeky voice please loosen the grip its hurting. ASR looked at her and said next time don’t act smart with me and you will not be in pain and loosen the grip on her hand and looked at man standing in front of him and a nod of his head they were surrounded by his bodyguards. Soon they were walking into the mall. People in the mall were looking at them with wide eyes and shocked to see ASR with a girl in his arm. Aman who had been informed by his boss to be in the mall was already there waiting for them and as soon as he was ASR enter the mall he walked to him and wished Good Morning to him and Khuhsi to. ASR walked straight at soon they were in a show room which had all the latest gadgets and he selected a laptop and phone for her of his choice and walked out again with her but as soon as they were out the word was spread that ASR was in a mall with a girl and reporters were already there to take his picture and the girl who was in his arm but they were not allowed in the mall as he had made sure Aman took care of it.

Khushi had been silent all the time while he had selected phone and laptop for her without even asking her opinion but she had hold her tongue back as she was right now satisfied that she was getting the thing that she wanted. Soon they were in the car and Aman was sitting in front seat Khushi smiled at him and said how are u Aman ji. Aman looked at her and then at his boss and said good Ma’am as he knew ASR didn’t like other to use first name or get to friendly with him and now even to his wife. Khsuhi made faces as he called her Ma’am but she was getting to talk to someone after a long and she wants to use the opportunity, so she said do you have a family Aman ji. Aman looked at his boss who was busy in his work and not at all bothered to say or react thought o keep it short otherwise it could blow his bosses fuse and said yes man I have a family, which contains only my parents and me. Khushi wanted to talk more but at the moment Aman’s mobile rang and he thanked all the gods in the world as ASR’s mode is one such thing that no one could predict.

Soon Khushi was dropped back to house along with her new phone and laptop so she spent her time in examine them and trying to get hold of it. But as soon as she opened the phone she got a message and read it.

“Whatever you do in this but don’t try to fool me I would now what you do even if you don’t tell me. I have eyes on all your moves.”

She saw the number was stored in her phone as and knew whose it was even before she was the name written in a capital letter ARNAV SINGH RAIZADA. Khushi let go of that and soon was busy with her laptop she mailed all her friends and even her sister who she knew would be tensed for her so she did mail her that she was good and she should not worry and she even mailed Payal her new number. She was scared to call her jeeji and didn’t knew whether to call or not or seek his permission first. But she heard a incoming message and knew only one person messaged her and she opened shock to see what he had written.

“You can call your sister and talk to her but he cautious to not make any stupid plan to run from me and you know the consequences of it.”

Khushi’s mouth was hanging open with his word and sweat beads were forming on her forehead she wiped them and said to herself he can read my mind from far to and that made her more scared of him and her mind kept on taunting her that there was no running from his clutches. But she kept his though aside and called her sister.

Khushi waited with baited breath for her to pick up the phone and when she did the only word she said was jeeji and she heard a sob from other end and then started a conversation that was much awaited. Payal made herself calm and said Khushi why didn’t you tell me and how can he marry you why are you with him had he black mailed you or threatened you. You are so young to be married to that monster. Khushi heard her sister and knew she had to give few answers to her so she told her the truth of her marriage and how she tried to run from him but how always he caught her. She waited for Payal to say something but the words she heard made her panic. Payal heard all the things her sister said and she was shattered to hear her baby had to go through so much pain she took a deep breath and said Khushi I am going to come there and take you with me.

Khushi panicked as soon as she heard that and his threat was all she could hear and knew if she leaved him then her jeeji’s and jeeju’s life will leave them. so she composed herself and sais jeeju don’t you trust me I’m fine he is not as bad as he shows he got me new phone so I could talk to you and also bought me knew laptop I have mailed you and we can video chat so you can see me and now that I’m fine and you don’t need to come her I’m happy with him and you have your life to live and I won’t be happy if you are not happy and if I’m in trouble or pain I will tell you so don’t worry. Payal heard her and said I’m worried Khushi and I always will be you are my baby how can I not worry. Khushi smile through  her tears and said I know jeeji but trust me I’m trying to find my happiness with him and you have to promise me you will let me do and not come here to take me back now promise me. Payal stayed quiet and said I will try but I won’t promise and Khushi was happy with this as she knew that was more than enough for her right now this will keep her sister safe from the doom. She put the call on hold when she heard the knock on the door and said come in HP walked in and said lunch is ready and left the room when she said she will be there in few minutes. Khushi returned back to her call and said to her jeeji that she is going for lunch and will talk tomorrow with her and before she could cut the call Payal had kept it but before she could end the call she heard hi svoice and it made her shocked and she looked around the room but there was no one and then she heard him speak again you did the right thing Khushi and she knew he was speaking through the phone but what shocked her is that he heard every word she said to her Jeeji and she in rage asked him are you spying on me. ASR heard her and said in a cold tone yes and the phone went dead.

Khushi walked in her anger down the stairs and sat on the chair and soon HP served her the food and she started eating while cursing a loud while she eat that beast I will not leave him how can he do this to me I will show him what Khushi Gupta can do I will show him and she stopped when she heard someone clear there throat her first reaction was that she closed her eyes and prayed it should not be the beast, she slowly turned to her side and slowly opened her one eyes and saw who was sitting next to her and a sigh left her mouth and she gulped the entire glass of water kept next to her plate. Samar wanted to chuckle but just smile at the girl and her cuteness but none said anything only silence lurked on the table.

KHUSHI IS A TEENAGER SO DON’T TRY TO FIND SENSE IN WHAT SHE DOES SHE CAN CHANGE HER MIND AS EASILY AS SOMEONE CHANGES CLOTH SHE IS CONFUSED AND CURIOUS BOTH.

ASR IA BEAST AND HE WILL NOT MELLOW DOWN JUST FROM A SINGLE GESTURE AND WHEN YOU HAD BEEN THROUGH A LOT YOU CAN’T LET SOEMONE EASILY IN YOUR LIFE AND READILY CHANFGE YOURSEL. HE WILL NOT BE THE CARRYING AND GENTLE TYPE SO STOP THINKING ONE FINE DAY HE WILL BE APRINCE CHARMING NOT GONE HAPPEN AT LEAST RIGHT NOW YOU HAVE SEEN ONLY A BIT OF HIS MONSTORITY.

A PART OF HIS PAST WILL AGAIN COME KNOCKING ON HIS DOOR IN NEXT CHAPTER BUT WILL IT BE PLEASANT OR SHOCKING ONLY TIME WILL TELL. HIS PAST HAS A LOT OF THINGS THAT DESTROYED HIM SLOWLY AND PAINFULLY THAT NOW HE IS NUMB TO PAIN AS HE HAD BEEN IN IT FOR A LIFETIME.
