CHAPTER 30

 Wish is a word lot of us have used in our life, as everyone has certain wish they would long for or love to be fulfilled. It doesn't mean a wish has to be something that can't be achieved easily and so we wish for a miracle to fulfil it. But not everyone has wishes that cannot be fulfilled as it's a simple wish as simple as we breath that makes us realize we are alive. Some are lucky to have their wishes to be fulfilled by the loved once and some have to fight the destiny to get what they wish for or even manipulate and try to twist things so their wish is fulfilled. But we all have wished for something in our life and when someone is the most unlucky soul whose simple wishes are also not fulfilled as on one ever bothered to look at him as a soul who could have wishes too. So is it wrong to fulfill your own wishes in your own ways even if others feel it to be manipulation and wicked. But who are they to judge you when they we never the one to console you when you were never at the receiving end of being lucky to see you wishes come true.




ASR looked at the shocked faces of the people around him and smirked he knew they had lot of questions but no one will have the guts to ask him. He looked at his employees and then to his side were khushi was standing next to him with her doe like eyes confused why he had bought her here. He smiled at her and saw her face turn into an O shape and before he could say anything khushi held his face in her soft hand and said Arnavji did you just smiled and grinned at him like a loony and smiled as wide as she can. 



ASR looked at her but his eyes were on the mangalsutra on her neck and the bright red sindoor on her forehead and before she could do something more ASR pulled her closer and kissed her forehead and saw her turn red as cherry.


Before he could say more he felt her try to lose his hold on her and to wiggle out of his grip but he just tightened his grip on her and looked at her. Khushi looked at him and said everyone is looking at us and said him to look around. 



ASR looked at her and then turned to look at his employees who were too shocked to see their boss smile for the first time and then kissing the lady in his arm. He turned toward them and then said Aman and Aman who was standing few step away from them waiting for his bosses order.




Aman looked at ASR and waited for his command. ASR looked at him and said two months bonus for everyone. Aman looked at ASR shocked and said but why ASR and the moment he said ASR face turned hard and he regretted asking it. 



He saw ASR looking at him and then turned toward his every employee and said you will get two months bonus and saw them smile and pulled khushi closer and said bonus is for my wife Mrs. Khushi Arnav Singh Raizada clearing her exams top of her class and heard gasp from everyone, but he didn't stop there and said but if this news goes out of this room before I want it to then you will never be able to trace your loved once and I will make sure of it.



Everyone just looked at him and nodded their heads as they knew their boss will do what he says and now at the moment what was going on in their head was that their boss got married to the girl standing next to him and every eyes was on her.



Khushi looked at everyone looking at her and so she snuggled close to her Arnavji and said I don't like everyone looking at me. ASR looked at her and then his one glare and everyone diverted their eyes. 


ASR smirked at his impact and said now no one is looking at you. Khushi looked up and saw everyone was busy in their work as if nothing had happened her, she smiled at Arnavji and said can we go home now. 




ASR looked at her and said lets go but before going he looked at Aman and said make sure they get my words drill into their brains I won't like a single harm on her. Aman nodded at his boss as he knew what ASR was trying to imply and he said I will make sure this news doesn't goes out and saw ASR walking out still holding khushi close to him.



As soon as they got down and sat in the car khushi looked at him and said why did you gave bonus to your employees I didn't do that good in my exams. ASR who was looking  in his phone reading some mail without looking at her said I wanted to as you were happy.



Khushi looked at him shocked and confused and kept staring at him as the man next to her was too confusing for her. She could not understand that whether she should feel happy and special that her happiness matters to him or confused that he can change into a volcano anytime and hurt her. 




She was happy that he said that she was his wife as she had looked the way people looked at her when he had lifted her up and took her to his room she had seen the look people were giving her and the moment he had declared her his wife they were compelled to give her respect.  She had seen the shallow side of life and people when her parents had die and she still knew people do change their skin color as chameleon it's just what suits their needs.




Khushi knew that it will be no use asking him but still she did and the answer he gave confused her more and made her question that did her happiness mattered to him. He did made her feel special today but what about the next day he can change his behavior leaving more confused and she was trying to leave with this confusion and make the best of what she had. But when her husband does something that lives her shocked and stunned and also make her feel happy what should she feel at that moment. 



She was just looking at him all throughout the way and but all she saw was hi busy in his work. When he lifted his eyes from his phone and looked at her and said I hope you remember what you have to do we had a deal. Khushi just nodded at him and then turned around to look out.





As soon as they reached home ASR shouted for HP and said him to help Mr. Rathod to move in to the outhouse and help him pack and shift and took khushi's hand and moved toward their room. The moment they reached room ASR walked toward the walk in closet and soon was back with a packet and gave it to her and said this is your gift. 



Khushi looked at him in shock and pinched herself and shrieked and looked at ASR who was looking at her like as if she is mad. Khushi smiled at him sheepishly and said you are giving me a lot of shocks today so I wanted to confirm whether I'm not dreaming. ASR just smirked at her and said I will be good to you and you will never feel pain if you make sure I don't feel it too.




Khushi looked at him and smiled at him she knew what he meant and just nodded her head. She was used to him being sweet and then there would be an underlined threat in his words but now she knew that it was his way to protect himself from the pain that unknowingly she will give him so better warn her than to wait for it. Khushi smiled at him and nodded her head.




Khushi opened the packet given to her and what she saw in the packet made her shout loud she just jumped on him and kissed his cheeks and kept on chanting thank you youuu sooo much Arnavji. ASR looked at her and just shrugged his shoulder and took his cloth and walked toward the washroom to freshen up. 




Khushi looked at his retreating back with so many questions and she knew that he will never give her an answer. She saw the content of the packet again and creased it. She could not believe that she was going to USA and could meet her sister, this was the best gift given by Arnavji to her. She wanted to dance and jump in joy and so she started her weird dance that she always did when she was to happy.



ASR when walked out of the washroom saw his wife smiling and dancing in a weird way so he cleared his throat and said I will come with you too, you are not going alone. Khushi looked at him and said you will come to meet Payal Jeeji and Akash jeeju. 




ASR looked at her and said I have some work there you can meet them but you will not stay with them. Khushi looked at him and said but we can stay with them for at least a day please I would love to spent time with Jeeji and after my college starts I will not be able to visit her. Arnav looked at her and without saying a word left the room.








Khushi saw his retreating back and just shook her head and soon she too got freshen up as she knew any moment HP will come to call her for dinner. When she walked out of the room she saw that Arnavji had already kept her clothes read and so she wore them and left down. 


As soon as she walked down she saw Arnavji was on phone shouting at someone and smiled at his and walked toward the living room and sat on the couch waiting for him to end his call. She was so happy that she had missed someone sitting on the couch next to her.



Samar looked at the smiling and bright face of khushi, he had come to know from HP that khushi had cleared her exams with top marks and so todays feast was according to her choice. He was waiting to congratulate her but he knew if Arnav saw him talking to her it will be bad for her. 


He wanted to gift her something but that would be a blunder and he didn't wanted to put her in trouble just because of him and he knew how much his son hated him. So he just thought to congratulate her and when he saw her walking toward him he felt it to be the right time to wish her. He saw her lost in her world so he just walked toward her and said congratulations Khushi.




Khushi who was lost in her world heard someone's voice and looked up she saw Samar wishing her and just smiled at him and thanked him. Samar smiled at her and again sat back on the couch he was sitting in as he knew that if Arnav saw him talking to her that smile will be wiped off her face.


Soon HP called everyone for Dinner and Rathods too joined them. Khushi was too chirpy today and shared the news that she was going to USA with Arnavji and how excited she was about it. Everyone smiled at her and the dinner was filled with her blabber which everyone enjoyed a lot. After everyone was done with their dinner they left to their own room.



Armaan looked at Anjali who looked sad as he got up to move out of the house. He pulled her toward him and kissed her while making sure no one was around them. He kissed her with all the passion he had for her and after they both were breathless he let her go and kissed her forehead and said don't miss me much. 



Anjali looked at him and said I won't don't think so high of yourself and punched him lightly on his stomach and made Armaan smirk at her and said you are losing your touch. Anjali looked at him and said think yourself lucky I didn't break you ribs like last time. 



Armaan smiled at her and said if this time you break my ribs you will be the one who will have to take care of me Mrs. Rathod and last time we were strangers and I know that you didn't mean to break my ribs it was a mistake at least now agree to it. He again smacked his lips on her as he knew she won't agree like always.



Khushi who was not at all sleepy so she was roaming around the house but before coming down she had informed Arnavji that she is going down. So when she came down she was all lost in her thoughts she was thinking about the deal or the punishment given to her by Arnavji. According to her it was not a punishment at all but it was too weird for her to believe it. But she had said that she will do anything he asks her so she was thinking how to fulfill his wish.




She was so lost in her thoughts that she had not seen the couple who was glued to each other. She came back to her senses when she heard a noise and when she looked ahead her mouth was hanging in a perfect O shape.  She looked at the couple who were eating each other up and she kept on staring them she had seen people kiss in movies but seeing a live show had left her stunned and intrigued to so she just kept on staring them. 



She came back to her senses when she heard another moan and it reminded her of the moments she spent with her Arnavji and then her brain commanded her that she was invading someone's private moment but she was still too nave to think wise, so she did what she thought was best.


Armaan and Anjali came back to their senses when they heard a voice shouting "I haven't seen anything". They looked at the person and their stood khushi with her hands on her eyes and shaking her head that she had seen nothing. 


At first they were shocked but then looking at her cute antics they both smiled at her behaviour and said you can open your eyes now.



Khushi peeped from in between her hand and when she saw them not kissing any more she took off her hand from her eyes and smiled at them but that smile of her tool them the tale that she has seen them kiss. 



Armaan looked at her cherry red face and said we don't mind if you have seen us but next time give us a thumbs up a bit early if you don't wish to see more than you just witnessed at it did the desired effect and they saw khushi ran like her tale was on fire and her face redder than before and Anjali's laugh echoing in the now silent living room. After laughing for few minute with Anjali, Armaan bid her good night and saying that he will meet her in morning for their routine workout.





Khushi who had ran straight to her room was shocked to see that Arnavji was already in bed so she as silently as she can moved toward the bed and laid on her side of the bed and as soon as she laid she was pulled in his strong grip and her head was now resting on his chest and khushi snuggled to him and soon they both drifted off to sleep.




Next morning came and as usual everyone had their breakfast together and as it was Sunday Arnav left to his study to work from home. Khushi who was still thinking what to do moved toward the kitchen and instructed HP to do something and soon she was busy in her own work. During lunch time she moved toward Arnavji's study and said him to come for lunch.



Arnav who was on a conference call gestured her to go, he will come in a while, but when he was done with his work he saw her still in the study her raised his eyebrow at her as if asking why are you still her. Khushi looked at him and said come with me. 




ASR got up from the chair and just followed her, if he was shocked that instead of dining room she was taking him to the indoor pool area. As soon as they entered he saw a table for two and looked at her and without a word and followed her as he knew what this was all about.


Khushi  looked at him and said i didn't wanted others to know about it so arranged it here.




Khushi said him to sit and sat opposite to him and gestured him to open the lid of the dish kept in front of him. ASR opened the dish and looked at the food and then looked back at her without any expression. Khushi looked at him and gulped and said I don't know how to cook and when you said you want a meal made by me and as I have promised you I wanted to make something I know, so I only know to make Maggie, sandwiches and kheer as Payal Jeeji didn't like me working in kitchen. But I made other dish too and she opened a plate and said I asked HP to guide me to make crispy paneer for you I don't know if it's good.




ASR looked at her and started eating without a word and khushi served him. 





She looked at him eating without any expression and she too started eating and when she took the first bite of crispy paneer she had made her face changed color and she looked at the man who was eating it as there is nothing wrong in it. 



He was about to put the next bite in his mouth when khushi held his hand and said Arnavji don't eat the paneer it's awful. How can you eat it when it tastes like you are chewing rubber. I will tell HP to make something till than you can eat the Maggie it's good.




Arnav held her hand before she could get up and said I will eat this only as no one had ever made anything especially for me, everyone was too busy. 



Khushi looked at him shocked and but said nothing and continued her food but avoided the crispy paneer made by her, but gulped every time she saw him eat it. After they were done with the lunch she served him the kheer as she knew that after that awful paneer he would need something good to take its awful taste. 



As she served him the kheer she saw a glint in his eyes that came and disappeared in a flash and she just saw him eat and after they were done he called HP to take away the dishes. Khushi looked at him after HP left and waited for him to say something but when he didn't she said I fulfilled the deal we made at least say something.




ASR looked at her and said food was good. Khushi looked at him shocked and said really you like it. ASR looked at her and said I never lie. Khushi smiled at him and said I was so tensed to present this to you. 



Arnav looked at her and said when someone makes something especially for you for the first time, it's always like a special wish and khushi looked at his retreating back while he left her in shock like always with his words.
