CHAPTER 40

Promise may seem like just a word for few people as according to most promises are meant to be broken. But what people tend to neglect is that when anything is broken it takes along with it a peace of the person who is broken as when you break things are shattered and can never be whole again, it can’t be mend, even if you repair a non-living object there is always a reminder of the damage done so when you mend a living soul with as many emotions as known to mankind will it ever be same again as it is. We all have a blessing as well as curse as our mind always stores our good and bad both experience according to our programming if we tend to feel the act done by someone we care and hold a place in our life our mind automatically stores it but when it’s done by someone holding no weight-age in our life our mind learns to ignore it as it is not important for us. Promises are of two time types one which we say and other is a silent promise which a parent give to their child to protect and nurture them, siblings who would be each other’s most cherished other half, partners commitment and loyalty to each other. When a silent promise is broken it’s the worst pain and suffering is born they can be the base for too much destruction.  

ASR looked at his bouncing wife she was dam happy from the moment he had said that they will leave tonight to meet her sister but the plan that was for ten days previously now was only for five days but all she could see is that she is gone meet her sister. Sometime he envied her spirit that was always happy while all he feels is the ache and burning sensation that keeps him caged in this rage that wants to burn the world with it making him believe why only he should suffer. He kept looking at her bouncing like a bunny and felt himself getting hard while his little wife was obvious to the need that her silky legs were invoking in him. His controlled snapped when he saw her bend down to pick up something and he could see her cleavage.

He marched toward Khushi who was still bend down and trying to pick up the hairpin she had dropped due to her bouncing but the pin was stubborn to slip from her fingers ever she tried to pick it up. So she was wiping her hand on her dress when she felt someone behind her when she turned her head a bit she saw her husband looking at her with those dark eyes and over the time she had understood what it meant. She gulped her saliva to see his eyes raging with desire and she knew what he will do with her, it excited her as well as scared her. She loved his touch and wanted it more and more she had no idea why she felt alive whenever he touched her and craved for it. She was still confused with the feeling her evoked in her when he touched her oh so sensually. Khushi smiled at him slightly and stood straight but as soon as she stood straight she was pulled by ASR.

ASR looked at her and smirked his hand was squeezing her as which made her gasp and taking the opportunity her dived deep into her mouth and sucked her till her mouth was dry and she was out of breath. He let her go but within a blink of and eyes her dress was torn by him and his hand was working on her bra hook and soon he snapped it open and it was thrown somewhere in the room and next his hand was on her waist holding her panty and guiding it lower on her body and as soon as it reached her knees it dropped on her feet and he helped her out of it.

ASR looked at her and saw her crimson face he was always intrigued who she can be this shy when they had done the same many times. He let go of his hold on her and knew she won’t move an inch, but her lowered head irked him and he said look at me and khushi raised her head up and hooded eyes met with his passionate one. He looked at her and said undress me and make it quick. Khushi lowered her eyes and started to open his shirt buttons she thanked her stars he had not worn his suit or she would had more things to deal with.

ASR looked at her lowered head and said look at me when you remove my clothes and if you don’t want me to be rough. Khushi gulped and quickly looked at him making him smirk and his hand lightly pinched on her waist making her shudder in need. Soon she was successful in removing her shirt and now her hands were on his pant removing his belt and then she opened the button and while sliding the zipper down her hand brushed on his hardness making him grunt and within a quick blink he removed his own pants and next second he pinned her on the wall next to them and started to kiss her neck and bit it hard leaving a mark on her and whispered I like to see you marked as mine. His lips did their magic and kept sucking and nibbling her skin turning it red and making her moan his name in the haze of desire. But before going down ASR looked at her and said we are going to your sisters place but remember you have to video call Lavanya every day and if you miss it, it won’t be good for you. Khushi smiled at him and said I remember and I will never run from my responsibilities and kissed his cheeks and bounce down stair. He looked at her shocked and confused as his threat had no impact on her but he shrugged it and walked down and had his breakfast and left for office.

Soon day flew by and they were all packed to leave and Aman walked in to the house and said ASR everything is ready and soon they walked out of the house. The only one who was hopping is Khushi who was happy to meet her sister after such a long time. Soon they reached the private air strip and their luggage was loaded and they were seated in their place and pilot announced the take off. Khushi was still trying to gasp that they were taking his private jet. While sitting on the plane she saw ASR and Aman talking about business she was lest interested in and she waited for the sign of seat belt to be turned off and she can go exploring the jet. Soon the sign was turned off and khushi sneakily got out of her seat if ASR saw it he let it go and khushi checked each and every corner of the jet while the two air hostess were looking at her in shock as ASR had warned them to take care of her ever wimps. Khushi looked at the air hostess and walked toward them.

Both the air hostess looked at her and said at the same time ma’am do you need anything. Khushi smiled at them and said nope I’m bored let’s talk and khushi started talking no one can ever make her halt her train. S she went on and on and got to know everything about both the girls and her talk halted when ASR called for her. So khushi had to move back to her seat. ASR looked at her and then pressed the bell an airhostess came and ASR order them not to disturb them till he calls and soon took her to the room she had checked before and said her to lay on the bed and laid next to her and held her close to him while she snuggled close to him.

They slept for five hour straight and then got up and freshened up and walked out of the room. While they took their seat they saw Aman was still sleeping. ASR order breakfast for them and they both eat it while khushi kept talking to him. It will take sixteen hours for them to reach their destination. Time flew by and they soon reached their destination. Khushi was too happy and hopping in excitement to meet her sister. She wanted to directly go to her sister but ASR had said they will got check in hotel first and then she can go meet her sister tomorrow as its night time and tomorrow after breakfast he will drop her at her sister place and come to pick her up in evening.

Soon next day sun rise and khushi was up and getting ready in a jet speed and had already ordered breakfast for them and also for Aman in his room. After breakfast they left for Payal’s house and it was a surprise for her and after dropping her at the small house he saw khushi ringing the bell. She had pleaded him to come with her to meet her sister but he was here for work and so he let her go alone but not without warning that any stupidity done than her sister will pay to which she nodded.

Khushi waited with baited breath for her jeeji to open the door and when it opened both stood shocked and Payal was the first to leap and hug her and soon both were crying their eyes out and after few minutes they composed themselves and Payal lead her inside.

Payal was dam happy to see her and said how are you here and were is ASR. He let you go. Khushi looked at her and said jeeji I’m here for 4 days ASR is here to he said I can meet you. He is here for some work and will come in the evening to get me. Payal looked at her in shock and said ASR let you meet me khushi this is the chance you can escape him. Khushi looked at her and said no jeeji it will be foolish to do that you have no idea what he can do when he gets angry and any ways I’m happy with him, he may be weird but he is good to me and he even got me admitted in the best college in Delhi. He cares for me even if his way is different you don’t have to worry about me tell me how are you and Akash jeeju.

Payal wanted to say more but she knew that khushi has closed the discussion and she knew even when she is soft and can melt like an ice but once she makes her mind no one can make her change her mind she is too stubborn when she wants to be. So Payal let it be and enjoyed with her sister she pampered khushi a lot and made all the dishes she liked and fed her with her own hand and khushi was being her childish self with her sister. She had raised Khushi as her own child so as a mother she was scared for her wellbeing. Khushi gave her all the gifts she bought for Payal and they both enjoyed the fatafat chocolate she bought for her and relished their old memories. Soon the time ran out and ASR had called her to come out as he was waiting for her.

Khushi bid by to Payal and she was sad that Arnav had not came in but she knew no one can make him agree to their wishes he is doesn’t wants to. Khushi kissed her cheeks and said she will meet her tomorrow and left. She walked out and sat in the car as soon as she closed the door ASR drove away. Khushi looked at him and said you could have come inside Jeeji wanted to meet you. ASR said nothing and khushi knew she will not get any reply so she shut her mouth. They entered the room and it was then he saw something in her hand. But didn’t bothered to ask. Khushi looked at him and then kept the things given to her by Payal on the table and started to set table.

ASR get looking at her and saw her take out a tiffin from the bag she was carrying and then laid it on the table. He was intrigued as he thought that it was her sister who send it for her. He somewhere felt that she was the lucky one to be so important in someone’s life. 

But his thought process was broken when Khushi said Jeeji send this for you as she thought the food her won’t be up to our taste bids. ASR just heard her and kept looking at her and then at the food laid on the table. He stood shock while khushi drag him to the table and he eat the food and for the first time he tasted it and relish the taste that after a decade had open his taste buds that had died long back but as soon as it came he masked it and hid any feelings he felt as all he had learned is that when you feel all everyone wants to do is use you for those feelings so he had killed them all back and he would like to keep it that way. No one had ever made food for him after his Nani died and he had long back stopped giving importance to anyone and he would like to keep it that way. So he eat the food and then left the table but heard khushi say I know you like the food, my jeeji cooks the best and smiled at him but ASR just walked away.

Next day came soon and ASR dropped her again and left. Khushi met her jeeju and they pulled Payal’s leg making her mad at them as whenever they both were together they would team up and irritate her. After lunch they all decided to go to mall as Payal wanted to shop with khushi. So they all got ready and as soon as they walked out a well-dressed man came toward them and said ma’am sir would like to talk to you and gave the phone to her.

Khushi said hello and she heard ASR saying that the man was her bodyguard and he will follow her wherever she wants to go and khushi gave back the phone to her and walked to the car while Akash and Payal looked at her in shock. She sat and soon Akash and Payal followed her and khushi looked at them and said that’s my bodyguard Mike he will follow me wherever I go just ignore him like I do to my bodyguard in India. Akash and Payal looked at her like she had grown an extra head. Akash gulped and said to khushi don’t you think it’s weird you will have no privacy with him following us. Khushi looked at him and said Arnavji takes my safety to seriously and if we don’t agree he will drag me back with him so just think he is like other shoppers. Akash and Payal knew that they can’t say anything as there was a finality in her voice. They all enjoyed a lot while shopping and Payal bought few thinks for her and khushi accepted it and also bought gifts for Akash and Payal.

Soon the days flew by and last day come and khushi saw the sadness in her eyes and did weird antics to cheer her up and at last was able to make her smile and promised to be in contact with each other through video call and can come and meet each other when they can. When ASR came to pick her up Payal and khushi hugged each other and cried their eyes out and at last she came out and sat in the car and waved bye to her sister while tears were flowing from her eyes.

As soon as they reached hotel they freshened up and after dinner their luggage was packed and a bell boy took it down and they saw Aman waiting for them and soon they checked out and were on their way to airport and then sat in the jet and it took off. While khushi was sitting next to ASR she heard Aman say ASR the process for merger will be completed in a month’s time and as you said it will be kept in rap till then. ASR just nodded his head and got busy in his work while khushi was feeling tied due to all the crying and slept of and her head rested on his shoulder. ASR looked at her and then slowly without disturbing her picked her up and walked to the room and laid her down and slept next to her and soon drifted into sleep.

After a 16 hour flight when the jet landed and they were on the way to home ASR’s phone rang and he picked it up and he heard what the other person said and his face harden and he said I will be there and he hung the phone. He looked to khushi and said I will drop you home and I have to go for and urgent meeting to Dubai and I will be back in a week’s time and hope you won’t do any foolishness. Khushi just nodded her head and soon the car moved into the gates of the mansion and she got down and saw the care zoom away.

ASR called the person and said Sid I will be there in exactly five hour and I want everything read you know what to do and give him a special treatment and smirked and cut the call.
