CHAPTER 41

We all have someone relation that we inherit as we are born in that family but some relation in our life are our choice. Sometime it take just few words or a glance for you to know that a person will be a part of your life. But being human we all are cautious, so we take time to let ourselves free to the person we chose to let enter our life. But sometimes someone enters into our life without us knowing it and silently becomes the part of our life. To live life we need to have attachments or loneliness will kill you. But attachment can also lead you to your doom that can leave a huge impact on your life that can shape your life in a way you have never imagined. To be broken is fine but to let your broken self to dissolve into nothing is proving the one who has hurt you right, that you are weak and few blows and you will perish.

Sid looked around him and after a long time he was relaxed and had time to rest for few hours before ASR would grace him with his presence. He still till today was confused how they had become friends most people didn’t even knew that they are close as they both like their masks to be intake. He remember it as clear as day light when he first time met Arnav, just Arnav they both were in their early teens and were trying to deal with life and its cruel side all alone.

Flash back

Sid was born in a lap of luxury he had always got what he wanted but his father Mr. Amar Rathod made sure that he was trained well in every kind of martial art, even he was thought about different kind of guns and shooting was his most favourite game he liked to play from his young days. But his training was not just for fun it was to build him into the man he was today. People can run from their past but to run away from your legacy is very hard even if you had no hand in it still just by birth you are already a part of it.

He was only twenty a fun loving guy who loved life and enjoyed every moment, but suddenly he was dragged to a world he had no idea about. He had just came home from a long vacation with his friends and was having his dinner with his father when suddenly there was lot of commotion in their house. Amar looked at his son and said let’s move and started moving to a direction of house that was restricted for him and he was shocked his father was taking him to the side that was beyond limits, he had many times tried to sneak in but was always caught and then his father would warn him.

He was about to ask his father why they were here but before that they were before a metallic door and his father punched in few numbers on the security system and then a mechanical voice said him to scan his finger and eye retina. After Amar scanned his finger and eyes on the machine the door opened. He pulled his son in and the door closed. Sid wanted to know what is going on so he looked at his father and said dad what’s going on why are we here you never let me enter this side of the mansion.

Amar looked at his son and said you were supposed to know about it when you turn 25 as according to the family tradition. He looked at his son and took a huge breath and waited for a second and said we are into Mafia business for generation and things have gone wrong lately so we need to escape but more than me I am scared for you as they are after you as you are my only heir and I don’t want to lose you like I lost your mother. Sid looked at his father in shock and said but Mom died in a car accident. Amar looked at his son and said it was a planned accident by my rival.

Sid was too shocked to say anything but before he could react there was noises coming from outside the room and he saw his father’s face losing all its colour and he heard his father say you need to run from here and handed him a bag and said it has all the things that help you escape and lay low till it come for you and if it don’t come then promise me you will avenge my death and claim the throne that is rightfully yours. Sid was too shocked to react and felt his father pushing him toward a door and open it and as he was pushed out of it he heard a huge blasting noise and the door flew open. But luckily the room was too huge and they were not hurt and then he saw a man pointing a gun at his father and without a word shot on his father’s leg. He wanted to help his father but he was pushed out of the door and the door was locked he waited there and could hear the screams of his father. He even tried to open the door but it was no use. He could hear them questioning his father but his father never said anything to them. For the first time he felt helpless and useless when he could do nothing to save his father.

He knew if he wanted to get back all that he had lost he need to move and make sure he is not caught. He hides in a hidden room at the end of the corridor that was only as big as a coffin but no one will guess that there is a place to hide and so he waited there and then he heard voices and the people who were torturing his father were searching for him so he waited there and after few hour he peeped through the keyhole in the door that was hidden by a decorative piece on the outside and could not see anyone and he also tried to hear any sound on the outside but he was only greeted by silence. So he slowly moved out of the room he knew he should move out of the house but still his heart pulled him back to the room from where his father had pushed him out.

His heart was beating at an accelerated rate and what he saw in the room made him to gasp in shock and it was difficult for him to breath. He moved toward the table where his father was laying in his own blood. There were knifes stabbed into Amar’s both hands and leg and also a knife was stabbed into his heart. He had never seen someone being this cruel to anyone. He moved toward his father as tear flew from his eyes. What he saw next made him puck his gut out. He touched his father’s face and then his eyes fell on the message craved on his father’s body right below Amar’s chest. He read it out “Same for you Rathod” and he knew what his father meant when he said he should run away. His father wanted to protect him from the cruel torture he would have to go if he was captured.

After seeing his father for one last time he moved out of the room but before going out he pressed the button his father said him to press and as he was out of the back door and turned back to look one last time at his home and saw it burning. He looked at the flames that engulfed his world making him an orphan. He was still lost in his lose when he heard voices and so he ran and never looked back as he was busy surviving. But one night he was trapped by the enemies of his father and he was tortured for a week and they were having fun torturing him. They kept asking him about the file that held documents for all their property and other documents of their business. At first it was hard for him, but then he turned numb to all the pain they inflicted on him. Luckily one of the man was ignorant and it helped him to escape.

It was hard for him to run as he was hurt badly but he still braved himself and his will power helped him to escape and the man who were guarding him were to intoxicated to catch him so the first step was easy but he knew soon the others will find out about his escape so he made sure he was far from their reach but before he could run far he heard the commotion and a voice shouting about him escaping. So he looked around him to find an escape and knew it was not the time to panic and thing calmly and saw an alley so he moved toward it and  as he walked toward it and when he was looking back to see if anyone was following him he bumped into someone and he fell flat on his butt. The man looked at him with a raised eyebrow as if asking who he was. Sid looked at the man and just said one thing help and fainted as his body could no longer bear the pain.

When he next woke up he saw he was in a room and he had no idea where he was but he saw that his wounds were bandaged and he tried to get up and felt pain in his body and gave up his try to get up. After few minutes he saw the door open and a man walked in and he saw his face and realized that he was the same man he asked for help. Sid looked at him and said thanks for helping me I’m Sidharth Rathod and you are? The man looked at him and said Arnav.

Sid looked at him and said don’t you want to know about me and the way you found me. Arnav saw at him and just shrug his shoulder and said I just felt I should help you so I did and I’m not interested in how and why you are in this condition. You can stay here as long as you want. Sid looked at Arnav and said are you not scared to shelter a stranger. Arnav looked at him and said I have nothing to lose except my life and I know I won’t lose it that easily as there is lot left to inflict. Sid looked at the man confused but one thing he realized that they both were in pain. After that day there was never any question asked by either one of them and he stayed for three months with Arnav and was now healed completely.

Sid was sitting in the living room and heard the main door open and saw Arnav walk in and could see few bruises on his face and hands. He saw Arnav slumped down on the couch and closed his eyes. Sid was seeing his every action and said you are very strange you know. Arnav without looking at him said so are you and stop staring at my bruises. Sid smiled a little and said we need to talk. Arnav opened his eyes and said what is running in your head. Sid just smiled at him and said what’s your age? Arnav looked at him and said 18. You did a huge favour on me and I will be in debt of you always for saving my life.

Arnav said nothing. Sid looked at him and said you are into boxing I guess. Arnav raised his eyebrow and said how you can guessed it. Sid looked at him and said your bruises speaks for themselves. After that they talked less but where always comfortable in each other’s presence. Sid came to know that Arnav was in college and also observed he was pretty serious about his study and every day at 10pm he got a call that lasted for 5 minutes but he never heard him say anything just an hmm in end before hanging up. They stayed together for eight months without bothering to poke nose in each other’s personal life.

After moving out of Arnav’s apartment he found out everything about his father’s enemies and slowly made sure to eradicate every one of them and climbed the ladder of crime world and turned out to be most feared Mafia man in whole of Aisa and ruled the underworld but for the world he was a business man anyone who would oppose him will disappear miraculously. He turned out to be the most ruthless man who could kill in the snap of his finger.

He met Arnav again after three years who was working as an intern in one of his companies and doing his MBA. When he learned that Arnav wanted to start his own company he helped him out but not with money but he cleared the unwanted elements from his path that wanted to manipulate him for their own greed. But he had underestimated Arnav and when he had seen him in his office and offering his a business deal that he could never refuse as it was too profitable for both of them. They never talked about what they did for each other but a silent companionship was formed between them.

Flash back ends

ASR had just landed in Dubai but he knew the work was already done as Sid had messaged him. The plan was laid very precisely and made sure no mistakes were done. Mr. Anil Raizada was trapped in his own trap. He was destroyed. A smile lit up on ASR’s face for destroying the one who played the part in his destruction.

Anil looked at the cell he was in and at his helplessness. He should have never underestimated ASR. He didn’t even realize when he penetrated through his security and caught him unguarded. He had done many cruel things and for the first time he realized karma is a bitch and is biting him back. He is getting back what he did to his brother Samar and his family.

ASR from airport directly left to meet Sid and asked him if there is any loops in their plan. Sid smirked at him and said I never leave one so chill. The three who could ruin it are already resting in peace. Arnav smirked at his word and said you planned it well. Sid looked at him and said it was your idea so stop crediting me. But how did you knew he had a mistress when no one else knew.

ASR looked at him and said it was his own foolishness when he once called me I heard someone calling him and then the sound of their moans he thought he had cut the call but he had not and I heard his talk to her and knew were to hit him. If he had hid her means she was special so I decided to hit were it would hurt the most.

But what shocked me is when I found out about his mistress. I knew he was insane but not to this level that he had kept a sixteen year old as his mistress and was with her for past three years. He had even sheltered her parents as his servant so no one will ever know what his relation was with the girl. Sid smirked at him and said at first I thought the girl was forced but then when we digged we found out that it was all about money and the girl and her family were also involved in human trafficking so they got what they deserve as you know I hate flesh trade.

After I made my man his most trust worth man it was a cake walk my man enter his house and killed his mistress and her parents but before that he showed that they were tortured to, we used a special chemical spray to knock Anil down that cannot be traced in any test as it is breathed in by you through air and even if he begged he was never involved no one will believe him. My man created a seen in such a way that showed he had captivated the family and was using the girl and in his fit of rage he killed them all and everyone her knows how shot tempered he is and to make it more strong we even buried few bodies of girls in his back garden to nail him once and for all. ASR smirked at him and said I want to meet him. Sid looked at him and said here is your permission and saw ASR walking out of the room with a glint in his eyes.

Anil who was locked up in a cell waiting for his execution as he was given a death penalty and the irony was he was being punished for crime he never did. He was so lost in his thought that he never saw someone looking at him with a smile on his face. ASR looked at the man who ruined hi along with others who also played their part and he is gone punish every one of them as they deserve to suffer for snatching his innocent wishes. He cleared his throat to gain Anil’s attention and saw the shock in his face making him smirk at him.

ASR smirked at him but it was a mocking smirk for his helplessness. He moved close to the cell bar and said how it feels to not be a man any more uncle, I heard they had castrated you as a punishment for all you manly deeds and now you are just a man for the sake of it. Anil could not even move from his place where he was sitting as it was painful for him. ASR looked at him and said I took away the thing you prided the most Mr. Anil Raizada and now tomorrow you will be handed to death and I will be there to see your down fall and enjoy it.

Next day came early than Anil could expect and now he was standing in front of a crowd that was assembled to see his execution and he saw ASR standing there smiling at him. He felt the hangman had put the rope around his neck and moved back to his place to pull the liver and within second he felt that rope suffocating him and he felt this was his end but he was wrong after few minute he landed on the ground and the officers came and lifted him from ground and opened his hands that were tied to his back and removed his black mask that he was wearing. He heard the officer say that the roped had snapped and they can’t execute him again as it was the rule that they can’t execute him again, so now he will spend rest of his life behind the bars. He was still in shock and was dragged to his cell. But after few minutes when he had a visitor again he looked at ASR who was smiling at him and said did you think you can escape it that easily and walked out. From that day the real torture started he was abused in the prison my inmates and his life was a living hell and all he did is begging pardon for all his sins so his torture could end.
